Becoming a PA

We recognise the importance of people we work with choosing who supports them. We therefore promote the involvement in recruitment and selection of all our PA’s. We ensure that all people we support are given the opportunity to be involved in the recruitment and selection of the PA’s.

They will be involved in various stages like short listing of applicants meeting and greeting applicants, having conversation with them just sitting in on the interview, asking questions in the interview be asked what they think about the person and helping with making the decision in who should become a PA.

Are you flexible and can you work shift patterns?
Can you be part of the team?
Are you local?
What can you do for me?
Are you a good listener?

What training have you done and are you willing to do more?
Can you drive? How will you show me respect?
How long are you going to stay?
What are your hobbies and interests?
Are you willing to learn new ones?
Will you take me on holidays?
Can you cook?
Will you speak to and treat me as an equal?
